For bookings made through Airbnb, the cancellation terms shown on the platform apply. For direct bookings, the terms — including any deposit and payment method — are agreed with Veronique at the time of booking.

Check-in is from 3:00 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM. Different times can be arranged directly with Veronique.

A valid ID is required for each guest, to be presented before check-in.

Check-in is in person: Veronique welcomes you to hand over the keys and share some useful tips about Pedara and the surrounding area.

Magma 104 hosts up to 2 guests (1 bedroom, 1 bed, 1 bathroom). Magma 102 hosts up to 3 guests (studio, 2 beds, 1 bathroom).

Yes, each has its own entrance, amenities and features. However, they share the equipped outdoor courtyard, the patio/balcony and the garden, designed as common space for guests.

A washing machine is available in both apartments (a dryer is not included). The kitchenette is well equipped: fridge, microwave, induction hob, pots and pans, dishes and cutlery, kettle, toaster, dining table and coffee machine.

Yes, a travel cot is available on request at Magma 104. Magma 102 does not have one.

Yes: Pedara's town centre, just 300 metres on foot, has supermarkets, pharmacies, bars and several restaurants. We're always happy to suggest somewhere, too.

Not for Pedara's town centre, which is walkable. For excursions (Etna, wineries, the Alcantara Gorges) a car is recommended; Taormina is also reachable by public transport, though a car remains the most convenient option.

Etna's trails are 20-40 minutes by car, the Alcantara Gorges about 40 minutes, Taormina about 30 minutes, and Catania's historic centre 20-25 minutes.

Main rule: put the waste out the evening before collection day, between 8:00 pm and midnight (not in the morning, not before 8:00 pm). Door-to-door schedule (the day shown is the collection day): Monday organic; Tuesday paper and cardboard, organic; Wednesday leaves and grass (max 3 light bags), organic; Thursday, on alternate weeks, residual (non-recyclable) waste or plastic and aluminium; Friday glass, organic; Saturday plastic and aluminium, organic; Sunday no collection (nothing goes out on Saturday evening). Nappies, incontinence pads and sanitary pads: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, in a separate bag. Organic waste in biodegradable, compostable bags; plastic and aluminium and glass in a transparent bag; do not use black bags: non-compliant bags get a red sticker and are not collected. Bulky waste, WEEE and hard plastic: free home pick-up by booking on the toll-free number 800 596677 (Mon-Fri 9:00-13:00 and 14:30-18:30), at prenotaritiro@ecolandiasrl.it or on WhatsApp at 392 9319900. Municipal recycling centre in Via Teocrito: Monday to Saturday 8:00-12:00, Wednesday and Friday also 15:00-18:00. Expired medicines in the bins outside pharmacies, used batteries at shops, tobacconists, hardware stores and the Town Hall.
